In short
Marketing for solicitors means winning enquiries for the kind of law your firm does. A conveyancing client and a family client search, compare and instruct differently.
We cover five practice areas at SRA-regulated firms in England and Wales: conveyancing, immigration, personal injury and other claims, family law, and wills and probate. The six services are the same for each. The channel mix, the intake questions and the SRA rules change.
Choose your practice area
Each page is written for one kind of work.
One firm's recorded figures are in our conveyancing lead generation case study.
Every enquiry we bring in stays with your firm alone, and nothing goes live until your firm has signed it off. We're not a law firm and we don't give legal advice. Your firm stays responsible for its own compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct. Your solicitors check what we draft before anyone outside the firm sees it.
Two SRA rules cover every practice area.
Three of the practice areas above fall under the SRA Transparency Rules: residential conveyancing, uncontested probate, and immigration applications other than asylum. For those, rule 1.5(a) asks for "the total cost of the service or, where not practicable, the average cost or range of costs".[2]
Every practice area sits under paragraph 8.8 of the SRA Code of Conduct, which covers publicity "including that relating to your charges".[1] Check how either applies to your firm with your compliance officer.
Practical tools for solicitors firms
Guides you can use without hiring us. Each links the rule it relies on.
- SRA Transparency Rules checklist: price pages and sample wording.
- Claims marketing due diligence: twenty questions for any lead source.
- How to choose a legal marketing agency: questions to ask before you sign.

All of them sit on the guides page, with the date each one last changed.
What does marketing for solicitors include in every practice area?
The same services, adjusted for each team. What changes is the layer on top: the rules, the questions intake asks, and the words clients type into a search box.
- FoundGoogle and Meta ads, local search and AI answers
- CapturedForms, calls and chats land in one CRM
- AnsweredIntake calls back, asks the same questions, follows up
- InstructedYour solicitors decide whether to take it on
- PPC management for solicitors with Google Ads and Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- Local SEO and AI search: your Google Business Profile, your reviews, and being cited by ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity.
- Intake and CRM in Clio Grow, Lawmatics, HubSpot, GoHighLevel or Salesforce, or fixing the CRM you already pay for.
- Remote intake and admin staff who answer and follow up when your own team can't.
- Law firm website design and AI and automation, which runs on our own server or inside your own tools.
The full list, with what's included and what isn't, is on our law firm marketing services page. Landing pages for each practice area are part of the work.
Content and branding are covered in guides, not sold separately. See our content marketing guide for what to publish, and what the SRA and company law make a firm show on its brand. Social media, for us, means the Meta ads in the list above.
Not sure where to start?
Start with the practice area where good enquiries go unanswered or arrive too slowly.
Bring that one area to a 15-minute call. Tell us how enquiries reach the team today and who picks them up. We'll tell you plainly whether the fix is ads, search, intake or none of these.
This isn't for you if you want leads from a pool shared with other firms, or a promised number of instructions. It also isn't written for firms in Scotland or Northern Ireland, which work under different regulators.

Questions solicitors ask before they call
Who owns the ad accounts and the CRM?
Your firm. Ad accounts, the CRM and pages are set up in your firm's name, and your firm owns them.
Do you pass our enquiries to other firms?
No. Every lead stays exclusive to your firm. We don't buy, sell or share leads with anyone.
Who writes the ads and the practice pages?
We draft them, and your solicitors check the facts and the wording. Nothing is built, published or sent until your firm signs it off.
Can you tell us whether our wording meets the SRA's rules?
No. Naelar isn't a law firm and doesn't give legal advice. We'll point to the paragraph we think is relevant, such as 8.8 of the SRA Code of Conduct,[1] but your compliance officer makes the call.
We do employment or criminal defence work. Is that a fit?
It can be. Both are on our list of practice areas, but neither has its own page yet, so bring them to the intro call.
